Introduction

Once you have a fully designed and functional web site, you will need a home for you site to live. You will also require a domain name. It can be confusing and we aim to make it easier by offering both domain name registration and web hosting, as well as a webmaster service and technical support should you require it.

These services are provided only for clients who have had design work done, or who have a maintenance contract with us. The reason behind this is that we only provide hosting to complete the all round service and by us providing hosting without the design, would mean a re-orientation of our primary goal: to provide you with the highest quality web site.

Web Hosting

We offer three levels of service; the Starter, SME and Corporate. The starter is for web sites who do not rely heavily on the internet and therefore do not require much space. The SME, named so because it is targeted at the Small to Medium Enterprise, offers ample space for a company using their web site as a marketing/informational tool. The corporate is for companies who would use their site extensively and do not want the hassle of worrying about how much bandwidth they use, or how much space their site is taking up.

The SME and Corporate packages come with free 24 hour technical support, whilst the starter package has free 9am to 5pm support. Also inlcuded with the SME and Corporate packages is a free webmaster service should you require it.

Webmaster Services

The scope of webmaster is to set up email, ftp & any other accounts, configure settings for email (including aliases and forwarders) and generally make sure things are running smoothly. These services are included free on the SME and Corporate packages, but on the Startup package you will have to pay extra.

If you are on the startup package it is not necessary to have a webmaster, as these options can be set up by someone with a little technical knowledge. This differs from technical support in that if you phone technical support to set up an email address, they will explain how to do it, but the actual setup is up to you.

The cost of the webmaster service is a nominal charge of R30 per month.

Technical Support

This is a free service for all customers, but is limited from 9am to 5pm to the Startup package users. If you have any problems, or need something explained, technical support is there for you. Technical support can be contacted via the contact page.
